When asked how this music differs from Battery and Ivoux, Maria replies, "The power is still there, its just focused in a different direction. A lot of Battery, especially Aftermath, was profoundly angry and bitter. With Frozen [an album released by Ivoux - the side project by all three members of Battery] the songs were slower, more lush - but also full of the darker emotions: despair, betrayal, the death of winter. Integration is an album full of love and gratitude, joy and wonder... just another exploration on the vast plain of human emotion." So, What's the Difference?
